In the "Recipients" tab, you can check which addresses were included in a mailing and how the mailing was processed for those recipients. This section is particularly useful for tracking delivery, bounces, opens, clicks, and unsubscribes in detail after a mailing has been sent.
Searching for and viewing recipients
You can use the free-text search to look for specific recipients - for example, by email address, surname, or first name. For larger mailing lists, you can also adjust the number of rows displayed per page.
Use the "Customize columns" option to change which information is visible in the list. The "Reset" function restores the original view.
Filtering recipients
The recipient menu allows you to display the list based on specific groups. Select "All" to view the complete recipient list. Use "Successful" and "Unsuccessful" to check whether the mailing was delivered or if issues occurred.
Additional filters allow you to view recipients based on origin or reaction - such as recipients from distribution lists, recipients from pressbase, or those who opened, clicked, or unsubscribed. This enables you to specifically track which recipients opened the mailing, interacted with the content, or unsubscribed.
Cleaning up unsuccessful recipients
When you filter by "Unsuccessful" in the recipient menu, you can select the affected recipients for further processing. These addresses can then, for example, be marked as undeliverable or added to the blacklist.
This is particularly useful for cleaning up bounce data immediately after a mailing. This keeps distribution lists cleaner in the long run and ensures future mailings reach fewer invalid addresses.
Adding recipients to Smartlists
Use the "Add to Smartlist" function to transfer recipients from the mailing into a Smartlist for further work. This allows you to create groups of recipients based on actions such as opening, clicking, or otherwise interacting with the mailing.
This enables you to directly utilize recipient reactions for subsequent communications, follow-up campaigns, or further analysis. Export recipient list
The recipient list can be downloaded as a PDF or Excel file. The Excel export is suitable for further analysis or post-processing, whereas the PDF export is intended primarily for documentation and sharing.
Summary
In the Recipients tab, you can search and filter the recipients of a mailing. You can check delivery, opens, clicks, and unsubscribes; clean up lists by removing unsuccessful recipients; and - if needed - transfer recipient groups to Smartlists or export them.
