What stakeholders are used for

Stakeholders define who a piece of content is relevant to. Examples include agencies, journalists, executives, end users, decision-makers, marketing teams, or social media teams.

Assigning stakeholders makes it clear which target groups specific content is intended to reach. This aids in planning, internal coordination, and subsequent analysis.

Understanding the stakeholder list

The overview displays all existing stakeholders. The table shows the stakeholder's name and a description.

The description can be used to specify exactly which individuals or groups the stakeholder represents. This is particularly helpful when multiple teams work with the same terms and need to use them consistently.

Creating new stakeholders

You can create a new entry using "Add stakeholder". Here, you assign a name and can add a description.

A new stakeholder should be given a clear, unambiguous name so that it is obvious when it should be applied to a piece of content.

Using stakeholders in content planning

Stakeholders can be assigned when editing content. This makes it possible to see later which content was planned for which target groups.

Stakeholders can also be analyzed in reports. For instance, you can see whether certain target groups are included in your content planning frequently or only occasionally.

Summary

Stakeholders help structure content according to target groups and relevant audiences. They bring greater clarity to the planning process and enable subsequent analysis of which groups are being addressed by specific content.
