Why can a file not be uploaded to the Mediacenter?
Make sure that you are using a supported file type: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tif, tiff, svg, webp, pdf, txt, rtf, zip, doc, docx, dotx, xls, xlsx, avi, wmv, mpg, mpeg, mp4, webm, mp3 or wav.
Avoid special characters, spaces and additional full stops in the file name, and keep the file name as short as possible.
Why are images not displayed in the Mediacenter?
This type of display problem is often caused by the browser cache. Clear the browser cache in the browser settings or use the corresponding keyboard shortcut.
How can I set the contents of an entire folder to public?
Add the files to the watchlist if you want to change the copyright information or status of several files at once. Changes to the client, status, priority and language apply to all files on the watchlist. Copyright information, tags, keywords and collections can also be assigned to all selected files if required.
How can I upload an image to the Mediacenter?
Open Mediacenter from the quick navigation bar on the left and select Upload file.
How can I provide separate public Mediacenters for my clients?
Client Management lets you assign all data to individual clients. In My Newsroom, create a separate Newsroom for each client and provide the relevant images and files from the Mediacenter.
How can I assign images already uploaded to the Mediacenter to another folder?
Open the three-line menu for a file and select Edit. Select the required folder from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, add several files to the watchlist and edit their folder assignment together.
