Frequently asked questions about registrations, answers, waiting lists and unresponsive people.

Someone dropped out at an event with a participant limit. How can I inform the person who will move up?

I have created an event with opt-in. How can I write to those who have not yet clicked on the confirmation link?

Can replies to events be checked for duplicates?

You can find the replies for your event by clicking on the name of the event and then selecting the “Reply” tab. select.

There is no direct duplicate search here. However, by clicking on the column heading you can sort the answers by first or last name and thus identify duplicates, which you can mark with checkmarks if necessary and then delete.

I am particularly interested in the participants at the event who gave specific answers. Can I filter by content?

Click on the filter icon to the left of “More actions” and create filter parameters to display the desired contacts.

What do the handshake symbols mean in the event responses?

Gray means that there is no person in the database for this response yet. Orange means there is a corresponding person in the database and the answer is linked to the person. Green means that the response data has been transferred to the data record.

What does the unsubscribe link in the confirmation email of an event mean? Can I say that I won't come to the event and be added to the blacklist?

This unsubscribe link is intended for RSVPs. If you initially agreed and are unexpectedly unable to attend, you can cancel or unsubscribe using this link.

How can I download the list of participants for an event?

If a personalized event link is to be used, a new dispatch must be set up and carried out so that the contact details from the database can be entered into the link accordingly. For a single participant, the regular link to the event would be appropriate, as this can easily be shared without any personal reference and the form can be filled out accordingly.

How can recipients register for an event?

This is done via the dialog form, which is part of every event. You can link to this form (e. g. in an invitation email) or embed it on your own website using iframe code. If an interested party contacts you by phone, you can also create “responses” manually. possible.

How can you write to those who did not respond to an event?

Why does it not show me the non-responders in the event?

Non-responders can only be recorded if a personalized event link is inserted in a dispatch job. You do this via " Content"-" Insert Content"-" Events"-" Personalized Link" (HTML editor) or " Insert"-" Insert content"-" Events"-" Personalized link" (Drag & Drop Builder).

The contact ID is attached to the personalized link, which records whether a contact has already contacted you or not. The non-responders can then be sent a reminder email.

We have a limit on participants. Is it possible to keep a waiting list here?

It is not possible to keep a waiting list, but you can enter a text that will be displayed when the maximum number of participants has been reached. Here you can store your contact details and manually move up interested parties if someone drops out.

We would like to send a reminder to the registered participants of an event. With the option to unsubscribe (link with unsubscribe option).

Only non-responders can be contacted directly via the event. Download the participants as a smart list and set up a new dispatch. A unsubscribe link can also be included in the registration confirmation in the event.
