The Reports section offers various analyses grouped by topic. Using the menu on the left, you first select the report you wish to generate. Only then do you define the specific parameters for that report.
Reports are organized into several categories, such as My Data, Mailings, Events, and Newsroom. Within these categories, you will find different report types, each designed to answer specific questions.
Selecting a Report via the Sidebar
The report selection menu is located on the left side of the Reports page. Simply open the desired category and click on the specific report you want. The reports available to you here depend on your user permissions.
In the "My Data" section, for example, you will find analyses such as Action Details, Data Origin, 1:1 Action Intensity, and Distribution List Members. These reports allow you to examine activities, data origins, or the contents of distribution lists in greater detail.
The "Mailings" section offers reports related to email campaigns and dispatch orders. These include, among others, Blacklisting, Mailing Comparisons, Mailing Reports, Mailing KPIs, and Mailing Recipient Lists.
For events, the "Events" section provides dedicated analyses - for instance, by event type, event group, or participants. The "Newsroom" section allows you to analyze metrics such as news item views.
Defining Parameters
Once you have selected a report, myconvento displays the relevant input fields in the right-hand area. Depending on the report, these parameters may vary—for example, a time period, a specific user, a mailing, an event, or a sorting preference.
The fields differ intentionally based on the analysis, as each report addresses a different question. A mailing report requires different information than a participant list or an analysis of data origins.
Generate Report
Once you have selected the desired report and set the parameters, click "Generate Report". myconvento then generates the analysis based on your selections.
If you regularly work with the same analyses, saved reports can be useful. You can use the "Saved Reports" feature to access existing report configurations without having to reconfigure your selections each time.
Summary
The Reports module serves as a central repository for various analyses. First, select the appropriate report from the list on the left; then, set the relevant parameters and generate the analysis. This allows you to perform targeted analysis of data from various areas, such as "My Data," Mailings, Events, and the Newsroom.
