An essential component of corporate communications are events to which invitations are issued.
Here, myconvento makes a useful distinction between people already stored in “My data” and new contacts.

Campaigns are also an excellent way to reach people with whom you have not previously communicated. The idea behind the event invitation is to create a web-based registration form and publish the link there in various ways, including through your website. Interested parties can access the form via the link and register.

Note: The first three steps are similar for all types of campaigns. You will find a general introduction in the HowTo “How to create campaigns or events”.

In the first step you define the campaign type. In this case you choose the type “Invitation to event”; this will add the following items to the page:

  • Campaign active from / to: Possible registration period
  • Event date from/to: Date and duration of the event
  • Event takes place in: Place of the event
  • Type of event: press conference, trade fair, exhibition, etc.
  • URL to the event: link to the event, if there is a website
  • Address Title: Name of the venue
  • Address: Address of the venue

The second and third steps are identical to the other types of campaigns ( HowTo “How to create campaigns or events” )

After saving, edit the dialogue form in the next step. This is also possible at a later time by using the option “Edit dialogue form” in the overview of events. There you must first select a campaign by ticking the checkbox so that the correct dialogue form is called up.

The dialogue form already contains the standard fields typical for a participation form: personal data, contact and communication data. A comment field with free text enables the participant to send individual messages. The fields can, of course, be changed, revised, supplemented or deleted at will.

Further information on this can be found in the HowTo “The dialogue form“.
