You can compare the data in the responses to your campaigns with the data in your database.
Changes due to a change of job, marriage or similar or simply a new e-mail address can be automatically transferred to your database. Of course, you can also transfer participants to “My data” who may have registered via the website and are not yet part of your database.

The data synchronisation between the data of a campaign and your data in “My data” is divided into the following processes:
“Connect participant with role” and “Update role“.

Connect participant with role
In the first step of the matching process you will see the answers of the participants as well as their contact details.
If you click on the handshake symbol, suitable roles are suggested from your own database. If there is no suitable role, you can enter the new data and create the person and, if necessary, the company.
If you select a role from the list of suggested records with the check mark and click on “Connect participant with role“, the participant will be connected with the corresponding role from “My data“; connected records are marked with a blue ring around the portrait in the participant overview. In addition, the “Note” field is automatically filled with information on who linked this answer to the role from “My data” and when.
If you use the opt-in procedure, unconfirmed registrations cannot be linked to a role and therefore cannot be taken into account for transfer to “My data“.

Update role
If the participant is connected to the corresponding role, you can now check the data specified by the recipient and, if necessary, replace the data existing in the role with this new data. To do this, click on the table icon of the role. You will then see a comparison of the campaign data with the role data in “My data“. Entries shown in green match; red entries represent differences that can be transferred. Place a check mark in the corresponding line and click on “Update role“.
Options“-“Batch update” allows you to quickly update all connected roles; however, the double arrow button still allows you to make corrections before clicking “Update All” to apply the changes to your existing data.
